Event-Day Emergency Kit Checklist
The best emergency kit is the one you barely need - but are very glad you packed.
Small problems are normal: a loose button, stain, missing scissors, sign that will not stay up, dead phone battery or headache. A simple kit keeps small problems small.

Did You Think of This?
Do not pack the emergency kit and then hide it. Decide where it will live and make sure the setup team knows what is inside. A useful kit in the trunk of a locked car is not very useful.
Add event-specific items: sunscreen, bug spray or ponchos outdoors; wipes and activities for children; fashion tape and shoe-comfort supplies for formal events; extra tape, wire, zip ties and permitted tools for DIY décor.
Make It Easier
Use a clear container or zippered tote labeled EVENT-DAY EMERGENCY KIT and tell the setup team where it is.
