The easiest time to remember who gave what is while the information is still sitting in front of you.
Gift opening moves quickly. Wrapping paper piles up. Cards get separated. Several people may contribute to one gift. A simple tracker solves that.
Track the basics

- Shipped or opened at shower?
- Thank-you sent?
During gift opening
- Assign one person to record gifts
- Record the giver’s name
- Note the gift
- Note whether it was shipped ahead
- Keep cards with gifts when possible
- Keep envelopes/cards in one safe place
- Do not rely only on memory or photos
Did You Think of This?
If multiple guests contributed to one gift, record every name immediately. It becomes much harder to reconstruct later.
Include shipped gifts too: gifts opened at the shower, gifts shipped directly and gifts received after the event.
Make It Easier
Keep the tracker with the cards until thank-you notes are finished. The goal is simple: nobody gets accidentally forgotten.
